Christian Elementary and Christian Middle School partner with FIRST LEGO League to offer an amazing robotics program.
Eagle Robotics 2020-21 consists of five competitive robotics teams. Three teams compete in FIRST® LEGO League (FLL) with students in Grades 4 through 7. Two teams compete in FIRST® Tech Challenge (FTC) with students in Grades 8 through 12. The competition season for FLL is August to November and the competition season for FTC is September to January. Teams meet for 2-6 hours per week during the competition season. During the Spring semester students are offered specialized training to prepare and develop skills used during competition such as programming and building robots.
Spring Training — If you have a student interested in robotics, this is a great opportunity for 3rd-6th graders to try robotics for 6 weeks. First Lego League introduces students to programming and building robots. Students will have a chance to build special projects such as a robotics cobra, a ball shooter, or a Rubik’s Cube solving robot. While having fun with these special projects, students are introduced to FLL so they can decide if they’d like to be on a competitive team in the fall.
