Christian School District (originally Living Word Christian School) was established in 1980 by a group of families to serve the educational and spiritual needs of their children. Since then CSD has grown from 30 students, who met in the basement of a church, to a current enrollment 570 students, serving preschool through grade 12 on two campuses.
Christian High School celebrated its first graduates in 1998 and opened its new school building in 2000. In 2005, a collegiate-grade gymnasium and another classroom wing were added. The middle school wing, serving grades 6-8, opened in 2009.
In 2008, CSD received accreditation with both AdvancED and Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). This accreditation opened the doors for competitive athletics and fine arts as CHS was granted membership into the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA).
Before/after school programs and summer programs were also added. CSD continued expanding its academic programs to include dual credit, honors, and AP courses, as well as a resource rooms for students with learning differences.
Christian partnered with Willott Road Community Church in 2015 moving its PreK-5th grade to this new campus in St. Peters.
In 2016, Christian High School initiated use of their new state-of-the-art event field and track.
Living Word Christian School rebranded to Christian School District (CSD) in 2019 and launched its new web presence.
In 2022, Christian School District took further steps to come together as one, as the Elementary campus was relocated to our main campus in O'Fallon. The preschool was relocated just under 2 miles from the campus in O'Fallon, MO.
During the 2023-24 school year, we will be expanding our campus to add an additional 9 classrooms and multipurpose space. Learn more on Phase 2 and continued updates on our YouTube channel.
